“I am absolutely thrilled to be recognized by my peers. The Devil’s Bookkeepers series has been a labor of love, with story origins rooted in my family’s history. The development of these stories has been a deeply personal experience and I am incredibly gratified these important novels have been recognized by readers and publishers alike. We must remember those who came before us and share their stories because I believe these stories still have much to teach us and future generations.”
The Devil’s Bookkeepers series consists of three books. They tell a haunting story of love and survival in the face of unrelenting terror. These suspense-filled novels recount the lives of four men living in a Holocaust ghetto struggling to document the tightening of the noose of Nazi rule and the controversial actions of their brutal leader. Written by Mark Newhouse, the son of two of the few survivors of the Lodz ghetto, this stunning novel series is based on true events that haunt readers long after they finish reading. As one reader wrote, “The Devil’s Bookkeepers is difficult to read, but impossible to put down.” More than three hundred reviewers have added their passionate endorsement to these award-winning novels whose universal themes transcend the nightmare of the Holocaust. The Devil’s Bookkeepers is available on Amazon and Kindle or directly from www.newhousecreativegroup.com for signed sets. Books 1 and 2 are now available on Audible and Amazon as grippingly performed audiobooks.
